Players to turn tide

PLEASED: Manager Geraint Williams.
ORIENT boss Geraint Williams was delighted with his side's showing against Exeter City, despite the visitors grabbing a late leveller.

"I felt that the players were magnificent," he said after the game.

"We have spoken a lot about the last game and it's been a long week since we played Southend. But we came out and attacked with a good tempo and created a number of opportunities.

"We were a bit fortunate with our goal, and it evened itself out with theirs, but we had some good chances in the second half and I'm disappointed not to get all three points."

Despite Orient's current position, Williams is convinced the players will turn things around.

"We're not getting our just desserts at the moment," he said.

"You can go two ways when things aren't going for you. You can lie down and cry about it, or keep battling and turn the tide, and that's what these lads are trying to do.
