Praise for mental health services

A GOOD range of mental health services are provided in Barking and Dagenham but they need to be better co-ordinated and record keeping must be improved.

That was the conclusion of government inspectors.

A report from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) stated that "user satisfaction with existing services was high" and that "most services for carers were of a high standard".

However, there remain areas for improvement - the majority of which, the council says, are already being addressed.
