Still ready for Cobblers and Millers

05 February 2010

by MIKE SIMMONDS

DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE manager John Still has challenged his side to make the most of their underdog status when they host Northampton Town on Saturday before travelling to Rotherham on Tuesday night.

"Northampton are deemed a bigger club than us and we always like to put ourselves up to the test," he said.

"They have picked up recently, especially defensively, but we want to put in a good showing.

"Rotherham away is tough anytime, but especially in midweek," added the boss.

"You're in the game to play these sorts of matches though and I can't wait for them.

"Whenever we beat a Crewe or a team who are bigger than us, I love it, as it gives me a great sense of pride.

"If we can get two or three back-to-back wins together, then it will put us right back into the mix again."
